MRS. ELVA BEATRICE MARGARET HICKS of Magnetawan Peacefully at the West Parry Sound Health Centre on Sunday June 4, 2017 in her 99th year. Elva Hicks (nee Hall), beloved wife of the late James Hicks. Dear mother of Linda Hicks, Gerald Hicks (Lois), Robert Hicks (Deborah) and predeceased by son Brian Hicks and daughter Gloria Hicks. Loving grandmother of James (Joanna), Heather (Miguel), Steven, Christopher (Shawna), Joy-Ann (Daniel), Johnathan (Tabitha), Melissa, Lisa and great grandmother of 11. Cherished sister of Percy Williams (Fay) and predeceased by brothers: Dalton (late Marlene), Carlyle (late Mary), Joe (late Rose) and sisters: Alma (late Chris), Valina and Tillie (late Gordon). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive visitors at the Chapman Valley Gospel Hall, 9 Miller Road in Magnetawan on Tuesday June 6, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mrs. Elva Hicks will be conducted in the church on Wednesday June 7, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. Interment at the Chapman Valley Cemetery in Magnetawan. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
