Patti, Judi and Brenda are sad to announce the passing of their dear mother Ellen King in her 92nd year on Thursday, June 29th, 2023 at Lakeland Longterm Care in Parry Sound. Mom will be greatly missed by her daughters, son-in-law Eric, grandchildren Jessica Schutt, Jodi Paul, Jennifer Paul and Ian Paul (Jodi Lamb), Timothy Butland (Ashleigh) and Chantal Leslie (Kenny), great grandchildren, Kaya, Lillie, Jade and Lia, and many nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces. Mom was cheerful and fun loving, and will be forever remembered for her baking skills, especially her butter tarts, her love of dancing, card playing, bingo, Scrabble and time spent with her family and friends. Mom was predeceased by her parents, James and Agnes Todd, and her sisters, Agnes and Margaret (Peggy). Mom will be interred alongside her parents at Fairholme Cemetary, Sunnyslope.
