MR. EDWARD ARTHUR TYERS Of Sand Lake Peacefully at Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville on Sunday March 25, 2012. Mr. Ed Tyers was in his 69th year. Dear father of Shawn Tyers of Powassan and Chad Tyers (Tonje) of Oslo, Norway. Cherished grandfather of Henri. Dear brother of Larry Tyers (Betty) and June Higgs. Ed will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Tuesday March 27, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A service to celebrate Ed's life will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 27, 2012 with Pastor Richard McQuillin officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Algonquin Grace Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
