Dorothy Margaret Holt

Passed away peacefully at the Huntsville Hospice on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, she was in her 100th year. Beloved wife of the late Ross Holt. Cherished mother of, Kenneth (Joanne) Holt, Douglas (Phyllis) Holt, Norman (Lynne) and predeceased by her son David Holt. Proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters Catherine (James) Borne, Phyllis (John/Warren) Borne and predeceased by Robert “Bob” (Marilyn) Borne, Edward “Ted” (Claudine) Borne, Douglas (Doreen) Borne, Donald (Louise/Rosie) Borne and Velma (William Roy) Borne. 

As per Dorothy’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service held. Her cremated remains will be buried next to her late husband in the spring/summer of 2026 at Strong Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home- Moore Chapel. If desired, donations to the Northern Cancer Research would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
