Dorothea "Dot" Howse

Born on June 22, 1939 in Burks Falls, Ontario. Passed away on December 28, 2024 in the U.S.A. Dottie is predeceased by her brother Gerry Whalen and sister Christine Whalen. Remembered by her sister in law Yvette Whalen. Cherished by her niece and nephews: Clifford Whalen, Donna (Troy) Marchand, David Boucher, Russell (Deidre) Boucher, Danny Boucher and Great nieces and nephew: Kelsey Marchand, Riley (Alex) Viera, Lexi Boucher, Lacey Boucher, Gage Boucher. Family was very important to her, and she was in close contact with all of her cousins and other more distant relatives. She also treasured her many friends, locally and across Canada and the U.S.

Family will receive friends at the Opatovsky Funeral Home- Moore Chapel on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 12:00 p.m.  Dottie was cremated and her remains were buried at Bow’s Cemetery. If desired, donations to the South River Seventh Day Adventist Church would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
