DONALD JEROME WILSON It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Donald Wilson on May 16, 2017. Beloved partner and best friend of Sarah Hodgins. Proud father of Shylowe Allan, Kailin Wilson and Abbigail Wilson. Dear son of Tish Wilson and the late James Wilson. Loving brother of Richard Wilson (Amy Mitchell) and Rebecca Broman (Troy). Cherished uncle of Chase, Gabrielle and Alexandra. Nephew of Larry (Bonnie), Wayne (Joy), Keith (MaryEllen) and Paul. Fondly remembered and missed by his cousins, other relatives and many friends. Donald was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping, especially with Sarah, and could often be found tending the campfire and fending off other sticks as they tried to tend it. He was a devoted son, checking in on his Mum daily through visits and phone calls. He was a great cook and master bbq-er and always liked experimenting with new recipes. Donald was an all around good guy and will be missed immensely by those who knew him and especially by those who loved him. A private graveside service to celebrate the life of the late Donald Wilson will be conducted at the Strong Cemetery in Sundridge on Sunday June 18, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend Rick Callery officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home - Moore Chapel, 9 Paget Street in Sundridge.
