Dianne Hill

Passed away at Muskoka Shores Care Community in Gravenhurst on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, she was in her 89th year. Dianne was born on August 2, 1936 to the late Bernard & Marion Hill. Unfortunately her mother Marion & twin sister passed away on the day she was born leaving her father to raise her alone until he remarried the late Effie Healey who loved Dianne as if she was her own. Dianne had a spark like no other and always had a smile on her face. She made friends no matter where she lived and enjoyed her time at Rowanwood until April of 2008, then she moved in May of 2008 to King Nursing Home in Bolton until May 9, 2009 when she moved to Muskoka Shore Care Community in Gravenhurst. She will be missed by many friends.

Dianne’s funeral service will be held at Opatovsky Funeral Home- Dempster Chapel on Friday, June 27, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. Followed by the burial at Burks Falls Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Katrine United Church would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
