Daniel Fowler

Born on Christmas Day, left us on Good Friday, sounds like a good man.

Daniel John Fowler of Sundridge passed away early on the morning of April 3, 2026. Born Christmas Day 1950 in Hamilton, Dan met Jean in 1994 while they both worked at Fearmans Meat in Burlington. They moved to Magnetawan in 1999 and then to Sundridge in 2006.

An avid fisherman and boater, Dan’s favourite place was on the lake. He took as much or more pleasure in Jean catching their dinner as he did in his own fishing exploits.

Survived by his loving wife, Jean Elizabeth, daughters Tammy and Tanya, sons Russ, Ron, Mike and Reg, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sister Barb, and pre-deceased by his brother, Steve

Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Moore Chapel in Sundridge.
