MR. DAN CUMMING Of Kearney Peacefully at Fairvern Nursing Home in Huntsville on Monday October 17, 2011. Mr. Dan Cumming was in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Jean Cumming. Dear father of Michael Cumming (Janet) and grandfather to Duncan (Jennifer). Dan will be fondly remembered by Doris and John, Janet, Chris, Gerda, Samantha, Elizabeth and all his many friends and family. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Wednesday October 19, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Dan Cumming will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday October 20, 2011. Pastor Richard McQuillin officiating. Cremation to follow with interment of cremated remains in Kearney and Scotland at a later date. If desired, memorial donations to the Kearney Lions Club or a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
