MR. CHRIS MacKENZIE of Lake Cecebe Peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday September 5, 2014. Mr. Chris MacKenzie, beloved husband of Pat, was in his 94th year. Loving father of Jerald MacKenzie (Jan) and Peter MacKenzie. Step father of Robert Stonehouse (Heather) and Victoria Poles (Andre). Proud grandfather of 11grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Chris is predeceased by his parents and siblings and will be fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Saturday September 13, 2014 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. A service to celebrate the life of the late Mr. Chris MacKenzie will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday September 13, 2014 with Reverend Doctor Walter Winger officiating. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
