Charles Edward Wayne Simpson

Passed away peacefully at the Algonquin Grace Hospice on Wednesday October 14, 2026, while watching the ball game. He was in his 76th year. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Simpson (nee Moore). Cherished father of Tara Alexander (Dan) and Vicki Simpson (Jason). Proud grandfather of Raymond, Amanda, Tianna, Thomas and Clayton. Lovingly remembered by his siblings: sister Christine (late Ernie), late brothers Rick (June), Ken (Brenda). As well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews who all share funny stories of times with Uncle Chuck. He will be sadly missed by his dear friend Laura Deroche, and his furry side kick Luka. Who both meant the world to him.

Cremation has taken place at Forest Lawn Crematorium. A service for family and friends will be held Monday October 26th at 2:00pm in the Burks Falls Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home – Dempster Chapel. If desired, donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
