Carolyn Crockett

It is with great sadness the family of Carolyn Crockett announce her passing. She gained her angel wings peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday September 24th 2025 at The Pines Long Term Care Home in Bracebridge. She was 83 years of age. Carol, as she was affectionately known, was formerly from Sundridge. She was a strong loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her heart was huge and full of so much love and happiness. Carol was predeceased by her husband, the love of her life, Stead Burns Crockett. She is survived by her sons who all cherished her deeply. Kevin Crockett of Sundridge, Ontario, Martin Crockett (Candace) of Stony Plain, Alberta, Erick Crockett (Elif) also of Stony Plain, Alberta and Glenn Crockett (Bernadette) of Winnipeg, Manitoba. She was a proud grandmother to Kacey, Shawna, Kyle, Connor, Lynsee, Karissa, Ellen, Claudia, Amy and Quinton. She also had several great grandchildren whom she bragged about constantly. Carol will be sadly missed by her brother Vince (Mary Beth) and sister Catherine (Julian).

A private family service, will be held in Carol’s honour at Strong Cemetery in Sundridge, Ontario. Arrangements entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home- Moore Chapel. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this time. In lieu of flowers donations in her honour to Knox Presbyterian Church would be gratefully acknowledged.
