Suddenly at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Friday, September 18, 2026. Brad, beloved husband of Julann Tonkovic, was in his 62nd year. Loving father of Kayla (Michael) and Scott (Chantelle).

Proud grandfather of Rayna, Georgia, and Elodie.

Brother of Cindy (Perry), Wanda (Randy), Lesia (Roderick), Anita (Mike), and the late Terry.

Predeceased by his parents, Wib and Lorraine Peavoy.

Brad will be fondly remembered by his family and friends for his strength, loyalty, sense of humour, and devotion to his family. He had a lifelong love of the outdoors and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.

The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls, on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

A service to celebrate Brad’s life will be conducted in the chapel at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2026, with Doreen Mason DLM officiating.

Interment in the Burk’s Falls Cemetery will follow.

If desired, memorial donations to the Royal Victoria Health Centre, RVH Regional Cardiac Program, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
