Blaine "Newt" Corless

It is with heavy hearts that the Corless family announces the sudden passing of Blaine aka Neutron on Monday, September 15th, 2025, he passed peacefully at home. Blaine was born and raised in Burks Falls, played on the local hockey and baseball teams, and worked locally. Blaine lived life to fullest and always was the life of the party, he will be missed dearly by the community. Beloved and cherished brother of Dawn Corless. Proud Uncle and Great Uncle of Spencer (Emma, Theo, Carter, Dahlia), Tyler (Michelle, Adeline, Braxton), Adam (Serenity, D’nary, Hazel), Kalub, Finley, and Fantasya. Blaine is predeceased by his Father Donald Corless, Mother Joyce Corless, sister Tina Corless and nephew Anthony Roberts. Celebration of life will be hosted by the family on October 5 at the Burks Falls Legion, 9 Mary Street from 1pm-4pm, further gatherings at 249 Yonge Street Burks Falls.
