BETTY-ANNE WHITEHEAD Of Burk's Falls (nee Brown) Peacefully at her home on Monday March 26, 2018. Betty Whitehead, beloved partner of Elmer Modeen, was in her 74th year. Dear mother of Betty McNay (Ron) and Christina Phinney (Steve) and predeceased by sons: James, Brian and Scott. Proud grandmother of Trevor (Kim), Stephanie (Calvin) and great grandmother of Nicole and Hailey. Betty-Anne is survived by her sisters: Gloria Tryon, Valerie Ferrante, Kathy Graham (Dan), many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk's Falls on Friday March 30, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. A service to celebrate Betty-Anne's life will be conducted in the chapel commencing at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday March 31, 2018 with Reverend Doctor Walter Winger officiating. Spring interment in Burk's Falls Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
