Barbara Ann MacKay (nee Hurrell)

It is with heavy hearts that the MacKay family announces the passing of their loved one at the Huntsville Hospital on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, she was in her 77^th year.  Beloved wife of the late David Colin MacKay.   Cherished mother of Darrin MacKay (Ann) and Donna Collins (Keith).  Proud grandmother of Colin MacKay, Craig MacKay, Kristin Lake (Matt), Shaun Collins (Paige), Kristopher Collins, Emily Collins and great-grandmother of Beau David Lake.  Lovingly remembered by her siblings Norman (Lois) Hurrell, John (Evelyn) Hurrell and Marilyn (Bill predeceased) Spencer. Sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  A private graveside service will be held at the Burks Falls Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations to the Algonquin Grace Hospice in Huntsville would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.  Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Opatovsky Funeral Home Dempster Chapel 210 Ontario St. Burks Falls, ON.
