Barbara Joanne Kellogg

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of (Barbara) Joanne Kellogg (née Todd) on April 28, 2026, in Ajax, Ontario, at the age of 80.

Born in Truro, Nova Scotia, Joanne spent her childhood years growing up in North Bay, Ontario, before eventually making her home in the Toronto area. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Many friends will remember her as a long-time office employee at Alcan Building Products in Scarborough or as a passionate Blue Jays fan, while others will know her for her special talent training dogs.

Joanne was predeceased by her father, William Todd; her mother, Evelyn Todd; her stepmother, Alma Todd; and her brothers, Fraser and William Winston Todd.

Her memory will be kept alive by her loving family. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara; her son, Robert (Pam); sisters Catherine Pettem and Jane Vandale: brother Richard (Gabrielle); former partner Bob Smith and the extended Smith family, especially Tony and Erin . She was a loving grandmother and special Auntie Jojo to many.

Family and friends are invited to gather, remember, and celebrate Joanne’s life on Saturday, June 13, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at The Royal Canadian Legion, 111 Hunt Street, Ajax, Ontario

As expressions of sympathy, and in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations made to Humane Society.
