Art Jeffery

Peacefully at Royal Victoria Health Centre in Barrie on Tuesday January 27, 2026. Art, beloved husband of Marg, was 77 years old.

Dear father of Steve (Teena) and Amanda (Chris). Proud grandfather of Matthew, Owen, Ava and Lyam.

Art is survived by his brothers David (Janet), Tim, Terry, predeceased by his parents Les and Betty Jeffery and sister Sandra.

Art will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunting, fishing, time on the ATV, snowmobiling, and a dedicated and hardworking carpenter.

The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Friday February 6, 2026 from 12 pm until 1pm.

A service to celebrate Art’s life will follow in the chapel commencing at 1:00pm with Rev. Steven Smith officiating.

Cremation has taken place and Art would prefer people to come as they are, casually, as he was most comfortable.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
