Albert Lawrence Gordon Pridham

Of Katrine and formerly of Oro-Medonte

Peacefully at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital on Friday March 20, 2026.

Albert, beloved husband of Marie (nee Sawula) for 44 years, was 69 years old.

Dear father of the late Michael (Paula) and Michelle (Chris).

Proud grandfather of Brooke, Hannah, Haley, Owen and Sadie.

Son of the late Gordon and Evelyn Pridham and son-in law of Mable and the late Peter Sawula.

Albert is predeceased by his brothers David and Tom (Marg) and will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, other family, friends and fans of the Katrine Zoo. Albert was a redneck mechanic, a jack of all trades, the best foreman ever, an avid hunter, devoted father, grandfather and the love of Marie’s life.

The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel, 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Saturday March 28, 2026 from 1pm until 4pm.

Cremation has taken place at the Forest Lawn Crematorium in North Bay.

If desired, memorial donations to Huntsville Hospital Foundation or the Burk’s Falls Food Bank would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
