Alan Bracey

Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on Monday, December 29, 2025, he was his 88th year. Beloved husband of Mary Lou. Cherished father of David. 

Much loved cousin of Sharon (John). Proud uncle of Anne (Brian), Rob (Anita), Nancy, Laura, Inara. Great- Uncle of Jenny (J.D.), Lauren (Jamie), Kim, Charlie, Leah, Jack, Scott and great -great Uncle of Delaney, Claire, Lucy and Ben. Alan is predeceased by his parents Harry & Marie and brother Gerald and sister-in-law Jean. He will be missed by many friends and extended family.

In retirement, he enjoyed spending time at his beloved home at the lake, golfing, curling, skiing and painting. He was an active member of the South River Lions for many years. Everyone knows that laugh of his! In recent years, he was happiest with Mary by his side and visits with his treasured friends and family.

Family will receive friends at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church at 23 Isabella St. South River, ON, on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10:00 am until the time of the Lion’s Club Service at 11:00 am followed by the Funeral Mass. If desired, donations to the St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church in South River or charity of choice would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
