Peacefully at the The Pines in Bracebridge on Friday April 14, 2023.  Merle, beloved wife of the late Doug Wicks, was in her 94th year.
Dear mother of Darrell Wicks (Jane) and the late Scott Wicks.
Merle was a devoted foster mother to many children over the years.
The family will receive visitors at the Opatovsky Funeral Home-Dempster Chapel 210 Ontario Street in Burk’s Falls on Friday June 16, 2023 from 1 to 3pm.  Interment of ashes in the Burk’s Falls Cemetery will follow.
If desired, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
